It is NOT fun to fight hordes of tough enemies while the player is low on health and ammo. Seriously, me and my friend were both like two-tap in the sewers and we could NOT find any health pickups until the next level.
One more thing. What's up with the gauntlets in this level? Out of the three first gauntlets you have to go through, two of them look and feel exactly the same and one of them actually fits the color thats given to it. The final gauntlet is also basically the exact same as the Red and Green ones.
The bridge is unreactable
the long range fire fight with heavy fog is not fun
The hole mid-slope one is utterly bullshit
the flashbang into antlion fight genuinely made me noclip the entire fight
and the fucking rocks are impossible to see even with flashlights
Maps 1-7 are a 7.5/10
maps 8 and 9 are a 5/10
map 10 is a 3/10
That being said, it was very well paced, apart from that Combine pincer attack in 9, ARC9 EFT weapons carried me hard, especially in 8, my R700 sniper was MVP on that map, alongside the M4A1 for the rest of them
I would give the maps a good 8/10
