TCP/UDP: 2300-2400
TCP/UDP: 28800-28900
TCP/UDP, and set this up as a Trigger Port if you can: 47624
TCP/UDP: 5198

5198 is the port I was missing for so long that prevented me from playing multiplayer. As soon as I enabled it, my game worked. If you don't know how to port forward leave a comment and I'll help you out.


I spent a while trying to find the correct ports to forward for System Shock 2.
Most answers were either incomplete or "Why don't you google it? Here, I'll do it for you" with a link to an incorrect set of ports written by someone who only ever tried it on Hamachi, which isn't that safe, or Tunggle.
So, be careful when looking online.

Great guide, for anyone using 25th anniversary edition just port forward port 5069 UDP and that's all you need. To play online using direct IP go into the LAN mode and host a game, then your friend goes into LAN menu and join by IP and they can use your WAN IP to get in.
