描述
This mod removes the visual healthbars.

Mod is multiplayer friendly. It doesn't trigger modded game status so you're free to use it.

@Toxic Metropolis, are you saying the HUD doesn't support 21:9? Because the game supports 21:9 just fine. And I don't see anything stretched.

This game needs a dynamic hud, and a extreme minimalistic one, doesn't even support 21:9

cool, thanks! I made a post in the workshop forums about it too but thank you for telling me the other places to ask around. all I've managed to do so far is sort of remove the damage indicators but it left purple blocks where the image used to be lol

You likely can't remove everything from the HUD.

Look for the textures and edit those. You can convert .bmap -> .png with Breckfest.

You can ask more better in Wreckfest Discord and look some modding stuff also in Bugbear forums

how do you remove hud elements? I'd like to remove everything but the lap counter but I can't make any sense it myself, I can do a few things with bagedit but I don't even know where to start to edit the hud

Ok, yeah, I think I get what you mean. More immersive trying to figure out your real health by damage visuals and 'feel' alone. I can dig it.

Some prefer it this way visually. Some say you shouldn't be able to see enemies healthbars, only see visually how damaged the car is and guess the amount of health

I had that question too. Don't see the point at all. Just to take up less screen real estate maybe?
