I hope you guys do make a newer version of this mod for a more recent build, if only for the looks.
Stuff like this is just so ridiculously cool!
The 0.6 corrmode featured in the original Doc video was a simple database edit that enabled some unused but playable levels (corrupted prison, corrupted roofs), items (Giant Killer) and mobs, for showcase. It was before ModTools. The 1.0 mod also added a wholly custom level (the green courtyard from screenshots) with its own rooms, and generally tried to squeeze out every feature of ModTools (introduced in 0.8) as a yet another showcase mod.
The 1.0 mod was rough around the edges and so were ModTools. We never got access to some critical features that were mandatory in mods of such scale (most importantly custom icons and the difficulty switcher, but we would always hunger for more features). Later on, ModTools were straight up abandoned and now several things we had in 1.0 don't work anymore, so the mod has never been updated.
The corrupted prison was eventually finished and enabled in the base game.
