描述
A long thin digital elevation modelled map that may not be suitable for all machines... around 60km by 10km is the area covered, by request. It only looks skinny-weird from the TF helicopter, ground level all is fine

Please see below where I have collated some info from our Steam friends on enabling experimental map sizes, you will need to make the modification. I think. You're not the only one who's surprised that this shape works :)

The map itself is 5633 x 769

Quoting:-

***********************************************

This is an experimental map size, hidden by default just because of the reason that it might not work 100% for everyone.

go to:

Edit:
...\Steam\userdata\<yourID>\446800\local\settings.lua

Change from
experimentalMapSizes = false,

to:
experimentalMapSizes = true,

***********************************************************

and quoting again:-

***********************************************************

'All you guys having issues, you can install the Transport Fever Config Editor:

https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php/Entry/2575-TF-Config-Editor/

***********************************************************

Thanks to the author of the Map Creation Tool and to the estimable Ordnance Survey

More like 'the cottons' to Liverpool, but yes - wool grows all around the North I am reliably informed

Surely that map's more like "the wools" to Manchester?

Because thin long maps are really tiny in the Map Creation Tool, town placements are not very accurate. The relief though is fairly accurate and I blame petra who put ideas into my mind :)

great map, quite accurate too, one of the lines I ride the most.
