The Grand Maestral - a replica of the classic multifunctional PVE vessel made by Dubrovnik Dynamics that has had a huge impact on the spacewide ship industry, back in 2423!

Vintage design meets modern times practical needs.

Built in Alpha 8 for PVE / Multiplayer use.

Nope! I'm not the person to do that sort of thing. Much as I'd love to, I have zero design skills whatsoever. Part of the reason why I download hundreds of designs from the workshop, so I can observe and hopefully learn.

Oh yeah, I've just tried it. That worked indeed. Interesting. Are you gonna modify this ship? For it is REALLY outdated and would need some amount of work to make it usable again in the game.

Yeah, removing the small panel under the RCS sets the player behind the seat when exiting.

@Madman: at the time this ship was built (more than 4 years ago) you could exit the pilot seat without any problem, you would simply spawn behind the seat. Unfortunately that has changed at some point in development of the game. Nowadays you need at least a block size of free space next to the pilot seat to exit without getting stuck.

@Kalizaar: mate, thank you! :-) Actually I have that build on my schedule for a 9.6 Alpha rework. I think I´d be able to release the updated version in May. :)

Really cool ship. Looks great and neat designs. Are you considering updating it with the new logistics in mind? A lot of the cool interior curves could be replaced with same shaped cargo extenders and then get rid of the individual cargo boxes taking up space.
