Seems to be dependent on low framerate to pass the first part. A coding quirk makes them go further at low framerate because they decay in frametime but travel in realtime. Unless you're lagging a bit, the green cubes expire about 4-5 squares before reaching the next platform, far beyond even the kind of parkour needed in the rest of the level.
