Well done solving the 2nd room seemingly quickly as well, it can definitely be deceiving! And yeah, the piston platform in the 2nd room is only useful because it prevents a trapping situation if you leave the cube up there and clear your portals while being down there. It also reinforces the "twin" idea, I guess.
Both siblings flowed nicely for me; thumbs up
P.S. I'm glad the use of the elevator platforms was clarified early on in the comments, since the same thing occured to me and I was wondering if I did something wrong with either using or NOT using it/them ;-)
