描述


The Sandbag

The sandbag is a cheap, light and easily deployable turret designed for placement around areas of interest until more permanent defenses can be built. It is a completely vanilla build.

It comes prefitted with a single gatling turret for engagement of light drones, 4 decoys to extend survivability during engagements and parachutes for dropping into hostile territory.

With a battery and solar panel it will run out of ammunition long before it runs out of power.


    Additional features:
  • remote on/off turret control via a transmitter script for when you're picking up salvage
  • remote parachute control, landing gear control and antenna broadcast on/off switch
  • antenna starts with broadcast in off position to prevent HUD clutter
  • survival tested against enemy drones
  • low profile makes for simple printing
  • all light armor for minimising costs

    Recommended use:
  • deploy in large groups for maximum effect
  • avoid low altitude placement as turret range is limited to 600m

can anyone come up with a sandbag solution that is meant for space? Because this is only good if you are on a planet..

@kandrinchae: I forged the original script (with approval from Remaar), it support the new IGC system and is therefore much more cpu frendly than the original script.

It's not my script and I think it's likely to remain broken as the way it worked is no longer present in the game as far as I understand it :(

Works like a charm ! I reccomend for people willing to try it to set up your sandbags early in the day so your battery has time to charge up for the night !
