Meshera Region

My dear friends, I’m glad to announce that I’m finally done with my Meshera map for Spintires:Mudrunner!

It was a huge long-time work which results I would like to share with you all!

The map represents, very accurately, a part of the Meshchyora National Park, 1.2 km by 1.2 km in area. Created with the use of real height maps and Google satellite photos, the terrain, as well as the location of roads and forests are completely identical to the real life ones. The village you see in my map is a kind of double of the Chaslovo village, a real place with more than 30 housesites, the outlines of every one of which have been rendered with maximum precision.

This map is not too hard to deal with, as my main interest was in making the area as close to the reality as possible, not in creating another nightmare for you to bleed and sweat trying to overcome it =) And the reality is that you can successfully get through those places driving a Ural 4320/375, regardless the season. This has determined my choice of trucks for the map. So, if you’re a hardcore 6-8 WD enthusiast, you’ll be disappointed. But if you like my GAZ-53 and MTZ-82, I think, you’ll be delighted, so welcome!

In the map, you’ll find one lumbermill (with 2 unloading zones), and three unloading zones near construction sites. There’s a “gas station”, that is a cistern with fuel set in one of the yards at the end of the village, and a “garage” represented by the abandoned truck repair station. To use the latter, you are to deliver the repair parts and tools there, some are available at the very beginning (you’ll get those from the GAZ-53N kung), the others are to be discovered in the trailers in the map. However, you can make it without repairing at all, provided you drive carefully.

There are a few cloakings I would recommend that you start with, just to be able to provide the most efficient routs for yourselves.

In the forest, you’ll find a number of wood cutting sites with logs ready for manual loading: two sites have short logs, one with both short and medium logs, while in the far-field site you can use both manual and automated loading.
