I haven't seen any mods doing this, so tell me what could be better. .

You all eco-drivers please tell me what you think about the semi-auto shifting. Set options to true automatic and eco mode.

This Mod adds two modded Paccar engines to all vanilla trucks, including custom gearboxes by PAAG to fit engine's low rpm range.
Man TGX Euro 6: only transmissions; use original engines (full torque @ 930 rpm)

This is for ECONOMIC drivers and there's no need to go much beyond 1360/1430 rpm. Set automatic shift on adaptive! You won't get more power with high rpm, since horse power does not count in the game, only torque.

If you use a H-Shifter, you may want custom H-Shifter layouts for the gear boxes included.

Unzip and save the 2 Files here:
C:\Users\Your Account\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\Your Profile
Choose them in Game Options.



MX-13 430 hp:
torque: 1940 @900-1430 rpm
secondary_torque: 2105 @900-1430 rpm
secondary_torque_gear_ratio: 3.00
volume: 12.9

MX-13 510 hp:
torque: 2330 @1000-1360 rpm
secondary_torque: 2508 @1000-1360 rpm
secondary_torque_gear_ratio: 3.00
volume: 12.9

This are low rpm "Boat" engines and I tweaked them a bit (fantasy style, secondary torque curve) so one can drive at super low rpm. These makes the truck feel more like a tractor with a low-rpm long stroking engine. They don't stall like SCS stock engines.

I made some Dashboard rattling (engine vibration resonance) sounds @~900/1550 rpm, so we can hear some engine vibration. Haven't seen this yet.

Engine sound are Kriechbaums Paccar sounds, enhanced a bit below 150 Hz for more rumble. I use HiFi speakers -- if you use a woofer you may have to turn it down a bit. :)

There is only one (strong and loud) engine brake step.

The 14-2/4 Diff 3.24 is an allround box fitting every need with Paccar's low rpm.

The 16-2/4 Diff 2.64 has pretty short gears. If you ain't lazy, you can pull between 1000 and 1180 all the time. Be aware the the shifting point deffers for gears 1 - 10 and 11 - 18. See data below. Subjecot of Change, see how you like it.

See the specs, especially auto shift threasholds of the engines.
Basically both boxes fit both engines. However, autoshifting of 16-2/4 and MX-13 430 is not ideal.
