Yet Another Voxel Addon
Fast voxel worlds in pure Lua.

WARNING: This is experimental and may include serious bugs, including crashes. Using a huge number of addons with this will most likely cause even more serious issues.

WARNING: There is currently no way to save worlds. The ingame save system will not work. Please keep this in mind.

For Players
This addon lets you play with a Minecraft-style map. To use it, play the level 'yava_void' in sandbox. The world may take several minutes to generate, depending on your computer's speed. You will probably fall through the map and need to noclip back on top of it.

You will spawn with a voxel gun, which can be used to add or remove blocks from the world. To change the selected block type, open your context menu (DEFAULT 'C') and use the dropdown in the upper left.

The bulk voxel gun can be used to place large cubes or spheres of blocks. To change the size, hold reload and left or right click. Left click to delete the region, right click to place blocks in the region, just like the normal gun.

The advanced voxel gun can be used to place large boxes of blocks. Press reload to set two corners of the box, and left/right click to delete/place blocks.

No formal docs exist yet, but the testbed showcases all of the currently supported features. See 'lua/autorun/yava_sandbox_test.lua' and the 'lua/weapons/' directory.

Recent Changes
