Moon seems to be a calm and peaceful place where nothing is happening. But the opposite is true. As long as those crystals are there. Arcanum crystals. New matter. Uknown and rare. Powerful and well guarded.

Arcanum crystals are unknown matter that came at Moon millions years ago by comets and meteors. They are very rare and expensive goods. The new war for this new resource is already starting. But because of their special uses, it's definetely worth it.

These sturdy and white glowing crystals are producing weak force field and very powerful electric, electrostatic and electromagnetic fields. By rafining them into even more stable and fully simmetric form and with use of special superconduit devices, they can be effectivelly turned into energy shields or even energy weapons.

These walkers are cheap, armored, armed and compact enough to be produced by small Moon facilities of Great Empire. Walkers proven themselves as much more better choice at Moon because of soft sand and dust
of it's surface. That annoying grey thing can burry any wheeled vehicle with easy if driver is not careful.

These multilegged walkers can easily tresspass any of such 'native' dangers. Propelled by 6 two joint legs, they can run with decent speed of 20 km/h. Also equipped with auxiliary thrusters and additional gravity thrusters for better ground contact.

The vehicle itself is of fairly simple design. One big engine in the middle of hull is via transmission delivering power to leg joints. For it's anti-infantry role it's quite heavily armored and armed. Armor at the front is 35 cm thick. Legs can wistand firearms and for short time even cannon fire. But it's still classified only as IFV. Not a heavy tank.

Armed with 8 rockets, 2 gatling cannons in rotating turret and two turret machine guns. Turret with gatling cannons can be controlled manually or autonomously. Basically the whole walker is just oversized scouting drone. Equipped with antennas, detectors and cameras it is perfect all terrain scout.

All you need to do when you want to send them to go searching is to open up their control terminal, put wanted coordinates into remote control and then press red button at back. Never was more simple. You can send only one, or dozens. It's up to you.

Drone Squad 627 discovered something interesting. Or more like, they were discovered by somebody interesting. They made first contact with those who were believed dead for long time. Long forgotten Moon miners those were send here to search for Arcanum crystals. Almost immediately when our walkers made first contact they were under heavy fire from their fighters and hover tanks. Fight ended by both sides retreating.

Now Empire is in open conflict with another unwanted enemy. But whatever. If this 'little war' will be won, others will be won too. We need to gather as much crystals as possible.
