I have created a Discord server for the entire Tormented Series found here.[discord.gg] If interested, head online and you can follow the progress of any and all of my games. You can ask me questions, find players, and even suggest new things for past, present, and future titles. This means I can continue working on The Tormented Crypt and even The Tormented Prequel.


Important
Just like The Tormented Crypt, there's a large rulebook. However, instead of having 13 full pages worth of information about the game in the in-game's Notebook section, I've created an interactive, 7-page instruction manual with an 8th page where I will list extras, tips, and tricks. It is very important that you read through this manual before you start playing since it will tell you everything required to know how to play. The Tormented Labyrinth is smaller, but more complex than The Tormented Crypt.

What is this?
This is a new branch of The Tormented Series. Since I stopped developing The Tormented Prequel I decided that it was finally time to do another managable mod. So here we are. The Tormented Labyrinth has a lot of the same gameplay elements as its predecessor but also introduces new gameplay elements and mechanics such as giving the enemies in-game more functionality, allowing them all the same privileges as the heroes.

What is this about?
This is basically the same as its predecessor with but a few changes to gameplay. The main point is that the heroes must get from the starting location to a predefined exit location without dying in a labyrinth that is never the same twice. There are 5 player slots with 3 different roles and 2 different teams. The first role is that of the Dungeon Master who builds the dungeon each turn. The second role is that of the Heroes which must make it to the exit. The third role is that of the Defender which spawns and controls the enemies of the labyrinth.

How does this mod play?
This mod plays similar to its predecessor with much more content and replayability. Dungeons are never the same twice, there are two new dice which introduce new mechanics, all heroes and enemies have special abilities, there are three heroes which are each controlled by a single player, and the introduction to chance. There's a bunch more but you'll have to check it out to know more!

What features does this mod have?
Currently, there are a handful of major features with hopefully more to come. Here's a list of the current features:
-3 heroes, 1 per player.
-A dungeon master who creates the dungeon in his image each game
-A player who summons and controls the enemies in the labyrinth
-Passives and abilites for each hero
-Upgradable heroes via attribute points
-Specials for all heroes and enemies
-Corrupted heroes which act as bosses
-Two new dice, adding new gameplay mechanics and features
-More to come...

What's next?
The Tormented Crypt was only updated 4 times throughout a week when I ran out of ideas on what to add, change, or remove. The Tormented Labyrinth is much more interesting to me than TTC was and I'd like to spend a lot of time continuously updating and adding new content to this mod as well as fixing what is currently here. I hope to spend a lot of time on this but need the community's help to progress this farther. If you'd like to help, post in the discussion on the workshop page.
