WoWs Novik/Izumrud class cruisers

A prop of the Novik class ships, as they appears in World of Warships.

As the Izumrud is essentially a carbon-copy of the Novik, the model here can stand for both.

THIS IS NOT A DRIVEABLE VEHICLE, AND I WILL NEVER MAKE IT ONE, SO PLEASE, DO NOT BOTHER ASKING.

Fully rigged, use a model tool to tamper with moving parts.

HIRMS Novik/Izumrud (1901) (normal, broken, skybox)
HIRMS Zhemchug (1904) (normal, broken, skybox)

Historical Notes:

Originally a single cruiser built in Germany for Russia, the Novik became impressive due to it's incredibly high speed for a cruiser, so much so that the russians decided to build two new ships domestically. Novik herself participated in the defense of Port Arthur against japanese attacks, the Battle of the Yellow Sea before being scuttled during the Battle of Korsakov. Despite this, the japanese managed to salvage the ship and used her until 1913 as Suzuya.

Izumrud fought in the Battle of the Tsushima Straights, attempting to escape to Vladivostok, only to run aground 60 kilometers from the city, forcing the crew to abandon the wrecked ship and make it to Vladivostok on foot.

Zhemchug survived the Russo-Japanese War and went on to fight in the beginning of the First World War, part of the allied task force hunting down the German East Asia Squadron, only to be sunk in harbor by the SMS Emden during a night raid.

Novik's armament consisted of 6x1 120mm/45 Canet guns, 6x1 47mm/43.5 Hotchkiss guns, 2x1 37mm/22.8 Hotchkiss guns. 2x1 7.62mm/94 Maxim guns and 5x1 381mm fixed torpedo tubes.

Izumrud's armament was identical to Novik's, with the five torpedo tubes replaced with 3x1 457mm fixed torpedo tubes.

Zhemchug's armament consisted of 8x1 120mm/45 Canet guns, 4x1 47mm/43.5 Hotchkiss guns, 2x1 37mm/22.8 Hotchkiss guns, 6x1 7.62mm/94 Maxim guns and 4x1 457mm fixed torpedo tubes.

The extended Novik class consisted of 3 ships, Novik, Izumrud (Emerald) and Zhemchug (Pearl).
