UPDATE 16.10.2023
- redesigned interior. More space, more organized, better looking
- a maintenance corridor now leads through the ship so you can reach and repair everything from the inside
- removed the small mining ship, so you can use your own
- a sorter and connector on the rear left now throw out stone

Description
The M400 is a surface mining ship. It has a double piston with drills on is bottom side. You can slowly extend by setting the max-distance of the pistons (see flight seat's menu bar).

M22 Mole
The M400 comes with the latest version of the M22 Mole, docked to the ships rear patform. The Mole, a small mining hauler, is one of the first ships, I ever built in Space Engineers many years ago.

- oxygen tanks

- gravity generator
- etc..

How to use
- simply enter the pilot seat, activate the drills (button 1) and play around with the pistons (just use the predefined menu bar buttons)
- or enter the Mole and dig tunnels into every asteroid

iff you are gonna update it add Scifi Ion Thrusters
instead off the old Ion Thrusters

The small mole mining ship is in my workshop anyways, but it's a very old design from 2018 or even earlier. I will rework it first. Make it PAM compatible.

I designed the M400 for asteroid mining in space (I rarely play on planets/moons). A fully loaded cargo vessel of this size would need either a huge amount of additional thrusters and ice or mod-thrusters to fly in atmosphere. And I try to upload my ships as unmodded as possible because most people don't like modded ships and those who do always want a specific mod.

So I make all my ships vanilla (except battle cannons mod) and people can then modifiy them to their likings.

then add the mining ship as a seperate BP for DL
also is it able to be build vanilla the big ship
also these have Ion engines thus not capable for atmospheric flight
but any1 who whants this ship in atmo use the Mod GE Sifi Multithrusters
ads a extra set off the Large Huge ion scifi thruster & and just standert large Scifi ion Thruster
as the name off the mods says multi which means those trusters
can fly proper in Atmo and Space it just has all3 types of trust
atmo & Hydro & Ion in 1 thrusters
and it uses only power no hydro so its a bit to effiecient but for me that's fine
