Shadowrift 2nd Ed. (Scripted)

描述
The town of New Haven is facing total annihilation at the hands (and teeth) of a horde of monsters from beyond the Shadowrift! The villagers will defend their town... until they get burned to a crisp, subverted by an evil cult or twisted into horrible flesh-eating zombies.

So, really, you shouldn't leave the defense of the town up to the villagers. This is a job for enchanted swords and mighty spells - for people of guile and indomitable will. This is a job for adventurers willing to face off against monsters with claws the size of swords. By spell or by craft, you must band together and eliminate the threat to New Haven once and for all.

Shadowrift is a deck-building game! You can buy new cards to add to your deck, cards that will define you as an adventurer and complement the strengths of your fellow heroes. Unlike other deck-builders, there is constant interaction with your fellow players as you figure out who will gain which benefit from the limited supply of townsfolk, offer their coin to help construct walls, and seek healing from anyone who's learned such magic.

Shadowrift also features monsters that don't merely sit waiting to be slain; if you leave them alone, they will rip New Haven asunder. They'll kill people, break walls, and kick your heroes in the face. Combat with them is intuitive (though frequently painful). For defeating a monster, heroes gain Heroism, a simple, consistent boost to their power that makes them better at anything they undertake. Since the monsters won't stop coming until the last Shadowrift is sealed or the town has been built into a mighty fortress, you'll need every boost you can take.

The second edition of Shadowrift features many improved mechanisms, including a revised system for how monsters choose who to attack (based on types of villagers, instead of specific people) and a new system for monster powers (making them much more dangerous). It also has a revised card layout and a great deal of new and improved artwork.

P.S. Shadowrift is a great deck-builder worthy of your collection. If you like it go ahead and buy a copy!

Doesn't appear to work anymore. I get an error when i try to setup a game. That's too bad, seems like a cool game and I was hoping to try it out before grabbing the physical version for my group.

Trying this for the first time and the number of Shadowrifts in the set up always seems to be short by 1 (4 players only had 3 in the deck.) Is there something I’m missing?…

Could you add a bag for the villager cards like you have for the other cards, so we could choose to play with/without certain villagers?

Hey guys! I have updated the mod with the changes SamuraiJackJr proposed, everything is working again. Sorry if I haven't done this earlier, I have very little time as it is with projects in life so updating my mods really hasn't been a priority.

All - looks like the scripts broke not because of code but because TTS changed some default settings. Essentially, you can update the scripting zones within a fresh load and the scripts will start working again (Zones -> Scripting then select the Gizmo tool). What I did was lower all the Town and Visitor zone "Y" parameters to 1.76, the Traveler zone to 1.8, and the "explore" (to the left of Traveler) to 1.5. I then raised the game board to 1.04. Save your game to create a fresh "starting point" for future games - with working scripts! Huzzah!
