Heckler & Koch G36C from CoD: Modern Warfare 3. The most compact of the German G36 family, it's just as subjected to overheating problems in real life, so much in fact, that there were reports of the polymer handguard melting down in Afghan. No wonder that its successor, the XM8, was never adopted mainly for the same reasons.

Replaces the "M-16 Assault Rifle" on Arby's animations.

I wasn't originally planning to compile this unremarkable model, but here we are. The fire selector is immobile due to a weird decision of the modeler/UVW-mapper/texturer to model/UVW-map/texture the fire selector at semi-auto, right on top of the receiver. I took minor liberties with the handguard rail, and added the AN/PEQ-2.

Constructive criticism is welcome. Think twice before posting complaints or suggestions.

Whenever the gun shoots it releases steam out the muzzle, but if you empty the mag then the steam just doesn't appear. It does appear if you shoot anywhere from 1-49 bullets. Hope that helps with solving the problem.

It's the same on every gun in L4D2 as far as I'm concerned. Unless there's custom smoke particles that exaggerate the effect, which this old mod of mine seems to have. I'll remove it at some point.

Small Bug: After shooting just one bullet the gun releases steam as if its been shooting alot.

Since when does it have burst fire and more importantly WHY.

It's a "commando" weapon; commandos can fire bursts without a silly limiter.

Is there any chance to make it replace Scar? because i see that g36c does have burst fire mode, and i have thought about that twice
