A fraction of my overhaul mod 'Kings and Politics'

This mod makes every major settlement have doubled up garrisons. You will now be required to wait them out, as in a real siege, no more blitzkrieg.

me again... it stops the "blitz krieg" not really (may be a little in addition with minor settlement garrissons - but these are no settlements. it are mines or farms)

however, I am still on very hard with east anglia.after taking wales, Northhumbria and their vasals declare war and arrive with almost 10 full stack armies....vs my 2-3.
some were with very good units, some with lower units.

however, as I have doubled garrsions too, they can not take any provinve capital.
AI attacks after one turn of siege with 1 ram and 3 towers..

your 4-5 garrison archers burn down the towers, sure!
put all the other units into the gate area... you will loose max 10-15%.... on very hard battles

this is useless as the AI has max 20 units in battle for one army. so a city with extra garrision building has without mod 20 units. with mod I have counted 40. but in battle only 20. there are more with another unit mod , but useless. Beside this, in this times, an army could take every city easy and must be stopped another army. no garrison ever were such size. blitzkrieg is still possible except with the minor town garrision mod. but this is also the same non-historic thing..as in the game these are only farms , mines, production halls - no real cities with real garrison. the game devs mad it only for fun. they should have not implement the area loss if you take such a production area. it is only an outsourced building, as we have less buildings in provinces. (compare attila)..but they need to do it, as they wanted to offer us a lot of regions

@Rua1r1 I believe the limit to the size of a garrison is 20 units.

I built a garrison building but it didnt show any further increase in the number of units on top of the double garrison. Is the garrison size capped at 20 units?

its fine, i guess i just have to start playing against people in this game to make it more difficult :) but the mod as it is is nice, just for some ppl (like me) it just makes the Battles last quite a bit longer but still is Blitzkrieg capable. (ive played all TW games since the first one so yea, i tend to get bored of Legendary Difficulty pretty easy. ) none the less, guess alot of ppl woulnt be able to do what i do in the game so it will make your game more Difficult!

even with this mod i can still do blitzkriegs, just instead of losing 20 units i lose between 200 and 500 units.. the Garrisons ar pathetic in their Quality, the quantity wont help it, even if they´d have 10 000 Units, i´d still probably beat them without losing more than 1/3 of my army. Cause its the quality and on that, the AI doesnt know any statagy, they just throw all of their units at you in a damn Blob. Easy pickings for your arty and Archers, only your frontline takes a big hit of Dmg for defending 40 Units at once. But dont matter, just pleb Units anyways. Therfore no real Losses. and you still win, and its a Heroic victory almost all the time so you get even more Fame from it.
