Half Life 2 Zombie Spitter Sounds (READ DISCRIPTION)

Credit goes to Kraton for the spit sounds from the Alien Spitter sound mod. You need to extract the sounds from the vpk and replace your default spitter files because rebuilding the audio cache with vpks does not work. the easiest way is to install l4d2 authorizing tools, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\bin (after you install authorizing tools) and find "vpk.exe" put my vpk (should be your latest vpk in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop) and drag my vpk onto vpk.exe and a folder should appear. open the folder and put all the sounds into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\spitter\voice (back up the folder before you replace the files!). once that is done open left 4 dead 2 and type in the console "snd_rebuildaudiocache" once its done restart l4d2 and play with the new sounds without the screeching. if you don't know how to do the vpk thing here are the sounds: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3t59qiznzmml3pr/half%20life%20zombie%20spitter.rar?dl=0 remember to back up your current folder!
