描述

The Neue Wache [en.wikipedia.org] (New Guardhouse) in Berlin was designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel as a guardhouse for the royal palace situated across the street. It suffered heavy damage during World War II and was rebuilt as a memorial. Redesigned after the German reunification, it is today the Central Memorial of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Victims of War and Dictatorship.

In-game stats: Same as the Plaza of the Dead, lot size 4x5.

@Filippos: The pediment is already on the texture, but it didn't come out quite the way I hoped it would. I decided to release the building anyway, but I'll probably do something about the pediment as soon as I find the time. Thanks for reminding me!

Hi there, I feel it would be great if you could include the pediment if/when you wish to update this fantastic asset(as found in multiple pictures here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Neue_Wache) . Unless the omission is intentional that is. Other than that, it already is a great example of Greek Revival.

@Sgt. Panther: I'd like to model the Kronprinzenpalais at some point in the future, but I have yet to find decent plans or drawings of it. For the time being, I'll return to the Gendarmenmarkt - the Konzerthaus needs company!

@AmiPolizeiFunk: I didn't know someone else was modelling it. Maybe I should lurk on Simtropolis more often, but anyway, it's done now^^

interestingly, I was mentoring a guy on Simtropolis who was making this building. Haven't heard from him since Dec 2017 tho. Glad it's finally on the workshop, either way.
