Masonic Temple

描述
A park building designed as a Masonic temple or Masonic hall.

Asset stats
Main mesh: 1853 tris
LoD: 64

Textures: 1024 and 128
All texture maps present, but there are no colour variations. It's a brick building, so there's not much call for it.

Props and decoration: Lights around the eaves of the building and an entry point.

A vanilla park here. No DLC or downloads required.

In-game stats
Footprint: 2x3
Cost: 7500
Maintenance: 40 per week
Garbage accumulation: 3 or 1.62 in-game
Water and sewage need: 10 (editor stat)
Tourists: 25 low, 75 medium, 50 high
Entertainment radius: 400
Entertainment accumulation: 125

So, pretty modest all around.

About
The building is based on the Freemason hall[www.google.ca] in Charlottetown P.E.I., not an exact replica, but the front facade is pretty close. I thought the building had a pretty Cities feel to it and could be ideal as a small park. Masons generally don't mix their business with religion or politics, so it's a nice contrast from the churches and cathedrals already available.

Personally, my grandfather was a Mason. I've been in a few Masonic lodges both as a kid in for a supper and later as a reporter. More recently it was for work to cover a charitable donation by the Masons for something - but, I have no illusions as to who made Steve Guttenberg a star. :D

Quite happy with how it turned out too. Given the size and design of the building, it'll probably look at home in the suburbs, as well as in medium-density midtown type areas.

Source files for this one are available here[drive.google.com].

If you encounter any issues with the asset, let me know.

Screenshots taken using the Rhinestone Island theme, Owl's cinematic LUTs, Time Warp, Relight, Post Process:FX and the First Person Camera: Updated mods.

And please enjoy.

Update May 21 - Added a bit more geometry, 8 tris - the tops of the window frames on the lower windows were missing. Whoops.

Update Jan 25, 19 - Back door is now blue.

@Richie - Thanks for that. I have seen and believe in the good work that the Masons do, and, perhaps, don't get recognition for - which is fine, that isn't the point.

Also, FYI, all Masons must believe in a higher being. Anyone who is a Mason believes in the Divine Architect of the Universe; no Mason is an atheist. There is lots of faith-related history in Masonry. Our roots go back to the building of King Solomon's Temple, which was a Temple for the Divine Architect of the Universe.

This is amazing! I'm a F&AM Mason myself, and I had not thought of this! I am definitely adding this to my game!

@Yoo Toobah. Is that so? (checks Internet). You're right. 40,40,200 RGB. I'll see what I can do.

You need a blue door on the rear of the building

@Anarchocapatalist Pepe. I was saying that it's a nice contrast from the churches because the Masons aren't religious. It'd be nice if there were some other service clubs on the workshop too, like a Lions Club or Kiwanis. Kinsmen or Oddfellows, even. Shriners too - Nobody's done a Scouts building either. Lots of possibilites! Same as non-profits like the United Way. They'd all be good standalone parks.
