This modification adds the following VIA Rail rolling stock from Canada to the game:

Locomotive
-GMD F7A - VIA CN | Available from 1978
-GMD F7A - VIA Rail | Available from 1978
-GMD F7B - VIA Rail | Available from 1978
-GMD F40PH - VIA Rail | Available from 1987
-GE P42 Genesis - VIA Rail | Available from 2001

Wagon
-Stainless Steel Coaches - VIA Rail | Available from 1978
-LRC Economy Class Coach - VIA Rail | Available from 1987


Features:

-Custom soundset including low-speed bell when driving under 20 km/h!

-Functional interiors with passengers/crew.


Update 1.2

-Added GMD F7A VIA Rail and F7A VIA CN locomotives with 4 total variants.
-Added GMD F7B VIA Rail locomotive with 2 variants.
-Added Stainless Steel VIA Rail Coaches.
-Changed 'EMD' to 'GMD' where applicable.

-Added F40PH VIA Rail locomotive. Happy Victoria Day!
-Changed years available to more closely reflect real-world years of operation.

Hello, this mod looks really great and I was just wondering if by any chance you could do the gallery 4 car and other VRE trains

The VIA and the GO trains are excellent. It goes well with a Canadian map play. I was wondering if possible to make the UAC Turbine Train version of VIA and CN. That will be a great addition.

more than those locos search up engines of via on youtube and you wil see some that one didnt know they had

@MKH1020 Unfortunately, as Transport Fever 2 has been announced, I've put any new releases on hold to avoid redundant releases until the format for the new game's mods and how that will affect old ones becomes a bit more clear.

While your idea of adding a new livery with a later availability is something I'd like to tackle, I don't want the work to be made obsolete when TF2 comes around.

Would it be possible to extend the availability date (as it expires somewhere in the 2000's) of the F40 and a refurbished version (new livery) as well?

Col0Kom I Really don't want to crave to much out of you, but please make the mighty Canadian. I'd be such an amazing addition to the game! If you're planning on doing it, i'd be more then happy!

@anindrapratama That's odd, as the sound files for the f7 are actually louder than most of the other sound files, even the F40 and P42. I'll investigate and see if it's possibly a reference distance issue.

@marcus.mackan.eklund The wait is finally over! Just pushing updates to the compilation packs as I get the rest of the projects ready for release.

@marcus Sorry for the wait, I've just finished moving all my stuff into my new place.
The next wave of Canadian rolling stock will be ready very soon, just in testing at the moment!
