Heh. The title shortens to "SCAM". That's just a coincidence, though.

This is a port of a mod made by /u/T-M-M-Mm, done entirely at his request. The original mod will stay up as well, and can be found here:

This is an update of the mod that fixes some sprites and updates it for the full release of AMPLIFIED.

Some Characters are Mages 2 is an update to the S.C.A.M. 1 mod, where, shockingly, some characters are mages. The main idea behind this mod is to give the player a powerful loadout, but punish mistakes more severely. As such, all methods of gaining hearts, save for the ring of peace, have been removed. All the weapons have also been removed.

This mod features:
-Cadence, the blood magic specialist. She starts out with a blood staff, a heal spell, and a fireball spell.

-Dove, the elemental expert. She starts out with an earth spell, a freeze spell, and a locked ring of mana. She's a lot looser with her pacifism here - you can use the earth spell to kill enemies.

-Bard, the glass cannon. He's the epitome of the "main idea". He tried taking a shortcut to power, but it backfired. He starts with a locked ring of becoming, a glass staff, a shield spell, and a monocle.

-Diamond, the funky boss. He studied the lute's magic for years. He couldn't replicate its revival properties, but he found a pretty neat alternative. He starts with no weapons and 8 rat familiars.

A few Known bugs:
-Food Shopkeeper still drops the gluttony charm on death. There's nothing I can really do about that.

-Familiars overwrite the rats when playing as Diamond. I didn't want to remove familiars from the other characters' item pool, so the only solution I have is to just not use them.

This update features modified designs for Dove and Bard, and some tweaks to the hats, to make them look better. Also, Choral joins the magic squad!
