There may be panels but they are uselsss to you when you are trapped in the funnel. If we should not be in there we should not be able to get in there, or at least get trapped there. Nice ideas though. I shall try it again and not go in there unless we must in order to complete the puzzle.

That is why I put the portalable panels. Of course, you aren't actually supposed to end up down there.

We become trapped when in the area with the funnel.
