The Great Khali

The Great Khali, one of the biggest superstars in WWE history, debuted on Smackdown in 2006, attacking The Undertaker immediately. After moving amongst brands several times over the next year, Khali won the World Heavyweight Championship in a 20-man battle royal. Khali held the title for two months, and after losing the belt, was involved in several feuds for the top titles on both Raw and Smackdown for another year. Khali's character evolved over time from that of a monster to a fun babyface, and the Punjabi Monster became the Punjabi Playboy.

The Punjabi Prison match was created for The Great Khali, although he has not yet won one. Khali was not able to compete in the first Punjabi Prison match, and he lost the second. However, he did help Jinder Mahal win the third iteration in a surprise, one night return to WWE in 2017.

Khali has made sporadic appearances for WWE over the past several years, including participating in the Greatest Royal Rumble match.
