Are you sick of building a fleet, only to see a mass of "Destroyer 8", "Light Cruiser 3" and "battleship SH_battleship 1" populating it? Look no further, for you have come to the right place!

Information
Following similar work for the vanilla game, I have returned with a mod offering hundreds of ship names for a variety of Kaiserreich countries that are currently lacking such:
  • Allgemeine Ostasien-Gesellschaft
  • American Union State
  • Austria
  • Combined Syndicates of America
  • Deutsch-Ostasien
  • Illyria
  • New England
  • Nationalist France
  • Pacific States of America
  • Papal State
  • Russia
  • Sardinia
  • Transamur
  • Turkey
  • United Baltic Duchy
  • United Kingdom
  • Venice
Why include minors such as Illyria and the Baltic Duchy, you ask? Simple. While they are individually not as popular as other countries, they do build small fleets which receive generic names, and upon their integration by other countries (eg. Austria and Russia) the new owners of these fleets are thus left with generically-named warships that can break their immersion.

The list includes a lot of historical names, appropriate for their individual classes, taken from the historical navies of Austria-Hungary, Imperial Russia, and Croatia, as well as fitting original names for the Baltic Duchy, offering the opportunity to build a massive fleet (relative to the country size) and even take considerable losses before the game defaults back to generic naming patterns.

Latest Changes in v0.6
  • Added compatibility with new Kaiserreich Dreadnought and Heavy Carrier classes.
  • Old Battlecruiser names should apply to Fast Battleships without trouble.

Compatibility
This is designed specifically to work with Kaiserreich. This mod is NOT compatible with achievements!



Nevertheless, if you encounter compatibility issues, please let me know so I may resolve it ASAP! The same goes if you have requests for new country lists for the mod!

Future Plans
  • Add support for Two Sicilies, Syndicalist Italy, Scotland, Wales and Australasia.
  • Maintain functionality and update for coming patches.
  • Add proper thematic lists per country (river names, town names, etc) for player choice.

This is gonna sound really dumb, but- can you add names for Hungary? I want to try and play Hungary and not be using nameless everythings and it would really help, however, i do realize that you'd be nearly unable to get any names as- Hungary is in fact, land locked, and hardly ever survives so whats the point- and yet i request it, otherwise excellent mod

To clarify, I know this one does not add German ship names. I use another for that. I am just showing appreciation for this mod as well.

Thank you! I currently have an issue in Kaiserredux, or maybe everyone does, in which Germany completely lacks ship name lists. Sub-mods like this are the only way I have to fix the issue.
Even if it had the lists, I would still be using this sub-mod for the other nations. Ship name list mods are one of the most valuable on the workshop, to me, and even more so when its a sub-mod.
I hope you continue to update your ship name mods, as there are plenty of mods that could benefit.

@Infryndiira oh my apologies, I made an assumption (without reading the description a whole lot) that this mod is for kaiserreich, it would have namelists for Germany as well. A complete blunder on my part

Hello!

I've been particularly busy in recent months and unable to play Kaiserreich.

The launcher update means I have to rebuild this mod from the ground up, at least as a compilation, so I can't do a quick update like I used to.

I'll have to ensure that Kaiserreich didn't change country tags (again) to ensure the lists work properly.

@Owl: Which countries have exhibited this issue?

@iNoob: Germany isn't supported by the mod right now.

Hello, I don't know if you're still updating this mod (judging by the last update date) but I checked through the files and I noticed that the .txt file for the German ship names is missing. The only one present is the AOG and Deutschostasien ship names.
