描述

Due to problems with the full version of this mod, I have released a mac-friendly version of the 2018 Mod. This includes everything in the base mod, except:

No custom liveries, as these seemed to cause problems for those on Mac
Liveries are vanilla liveries applied to teams, so will not be so accurate

Any further problems let me know

@eddiemarwick, Thank Eddie. I still fear it might be that those files are stored on STEAM server and not on my computer, but not sure how that would work either. Limited knowledge here I'm afraid, and probably shouldn't be tampering with mods if I don't know what I'm doing, but enjoy the gaming just the same. Cheers.

@acp - Unfortunately I don't use a mac so can't really advise on where the files are. I do know however that some users have had difficulties in accessing the files (I think it may even be impossible to do this but I can't say for certain). I'd recommend googling or looking in the steam workshop discussions whether there is a threat that deals with accessing game files on Mac. Sorry I can't be of more help, hope you find a solution tho.

@eddiemarwick, Eddie kindly added the explanation below which seemed to work for the person asking about removing the moving background on this mod...

... in your computer files go to programmefiles/steam/stramapps/workshop/content/the 2018 mod/videos and delete the files named FrontendBackgound, FrontendBackgoundGT, FrontendBackgound Endurance as well as the three files starting with Background2DMode

On the iMac, can you tell me where these computer files might be stored so that I can access them.. I have tried everything I know but to no avail. My game is stored on Steam and not on a CD or other file on the computer if this has any bearing on my futile searching. Cheers.

Is there anyway at all to disable or blur the non race menu back ground? Unmodded its unoticbale but in this mod its so bright, can hardly see the game and its so distracting. Its a deal breaker to using this mod, there must be a way to sort this. Can anyone help? Please :-(
