This mod allows you to adjust the frequency of trade ships on the fly! Safe for game already in progress.

The 'ships per day' setting is currently not working quite right. Set this value higher than 1 for better chances of seeing more trade ships.

For Randy, he's purely random and the value is the chance something will happen over other things. "Orbital Visitor Random Weight" default is 1. Setting it to 1000 will cause it to happen a lot more when there is an event.

After 5 years of modding for this game I am stepping aside. Life has me busy and I will not have time to update my mods. If anyone picks this up let me know and I'll post a message in the description pointing people to the 1.4 version.

The value this mod changes is Randy's orbital trader chance, not base chance

So why <baseChance>3</baseChance> results in weight 1.1? I'm very curious. It's a log relation?

Changed the default "Orbital Visitor Random Weight" from 1.0 to 1.1 to match Randy's default value

The weight value in "Defs/Storyteller" is "3", why you here is "1". I'm quiet confused.

Randy is completely random and the ships per day does not apply. Instead use "Orbital Visitor Random Weight" which will increase/decrease the chance of a trade ship from happening.
