The real star of the early 1960s hit show “Route 66” was the Corvette. Main characters Tod and Buz cruised the open highway in search of adventure, somehow getting a new Corvette every year.

@ David. You were right I put my new engine back in and double checked everything, This time it didn't complain about not having an exhaust and i got to drive it. I was really bummed because the body panels were almost all 90-100%. Thanks for the help!

I just bought 1 from salon and took it for a spin on Daytona track - so it definitely works with all parts installed. :)

@ Winder most of LIT's mods don't have exhaust. But if it didn't come with exhaust, that's not the reason it won't start/drive. You must be missing something else. :)

So are we just out of luck with no exhaust system? I started to restore this one from a barn find and now i cant even start or drive it.

You have two mods of the Chevrolet Corvette. This 1960's version and another 1953 version. The problem when i subscribe to both is that the body parts is named the same for each vehicle.
This becomes confusing since you can't use parts from the 1960's version on the 1953 version.
It would be cool if you could rename the parts to distinguish the two versions, perhaps by putting the year model in the part names.

Oh nevermind.. I am stupid, I didn't realize there was a "community body shop" or w/e ... lol found all the parts there... wasn't expecting that

Umm okay maybe i'm just stupid, new to mechanic simulator mods... uhh so i found the car in a junkyard, grabbed it, its rusted, missing body work.... and when i go to the body shop to find the the parts... nothing... do the body parts not exist?

great mod LIT...my only issues is the parts are not uniquely named. The parts for this and your '53 Corvette are named the same. Other than that...PERFECT
