From the Hall of Pain all the way to the Hall of Fame!

Mark Henry, a former Olympic weightlifter, could legitimately lay claim to his nickname, "The World's Strongest Man." He signed a longterm deal with WWF in 1996, and has been involved with the company for over two decades.

Henry was part of the Nation of Domination early in his career before taking on the "Sexual Chocolate" gimmick in the late 90's. Henry came back with a more serious gimmick after a brief hiatus in the early 2000's, but despipte several high profile feuds, he was unable to win any gold. When he was sent to the ECW brand in 2008, Henry became a dominant force. He later joined SmackDown and captured the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions (2011).

In 2013, Henry faked a retirement speech to lure WWE Champion John Cena into coming out to congratulate him, after which Henry laid Cena out. Henry never did win the WWE title from Cena, but he would receive the honor of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame when he retired for real.
