Resource Bases

描述
Description
Resource beacons despence any FloatingObject type resource when triggered by players.

Bases have three states:
Ready - beacon is ready for resource selection
Spawn - beacon will spawn the selected resource after the spawn timer reaches 0
Cooldown - beacon will do nothing until the cooldown reaches 0 and is reset to Ready status

All players will be notified when a base changes states.

How to use
Note: If you have any issues use "/rbase" or "/rbase help" for a list of commands.

1. Place the "Resource Base" block on a grid (looks like a small cargo)
2. Set an action to a cockpit hotbar.
Note: To confirm it work type "/rbase status".

For those using Torch navigate to:
<torch_directory>/Instance/Storage/1347334153.sbm_RBeacon/ResourceBaseSettings.xml

For those using basic DS navigate to:
%AppData%/Roaming/SpaceEngineersDedicated/Storage/1347334153.sbm_RBeacon/ResourceBaseSettings.xml

If you want to effect only one world then edit the world config:
%AppData%/Roaming/SpaceEngineersDedicated/Saves/<worldname>/1347334153.sbm_RBeacon/ResourceBaseSettings.xml

These are all the XML tags you can add under <Settings>
<UpdateInterval>60</UpdateInterval> - Update frequency (60 = 1 second <EnemyActivityBonus>true</EnemyActivityBonus> - should scale resources with enemy activity <EnemyActivityMultiplier>1</EnemyActivityMultiplier> - resourceAmount * playerCount * multiplyer

Adding Resource Options:

Under the XML tag <Resources> you can new resources to spawn. These look like:
<Resource> <TypeId>Ore</TypeId> <SubtypeName>Iron</SubtypeName> <AlternateNames> <string>iron ore</string> <string>fe ore</string> </AlternateNames> <Amount>200000</Amount> - Quanity of resource spawned <SpawnTime>1200</SpawnTime> - time in seconds <Cooldown>5400</Cooldown> - time in seconds </Resource>

"TypeId" and "SubtypeName" are very important to get right. They are used to lookup the item to spawn. For a list of posible items to spawn see "PhysicalItems.sbc" in SE's game files

Hello, I like this mod, but can you make it so if a player tries to grind it, the gravity components turn to scrap metal? (like the power cell of the batteries)

It's a pity that you can't activate a block with a time switch block.

Updated. It still says Activation Failed but it is actually triggering spawns.

+1 on multiplayer issue. Getting "Activation Failed" in multiplayer, but it works fine in single.

Also, feature request: I would like to have an option to constantly spawn resources in a loop rather than relying on manual activation (to constantly increase the incentive for players to show up, since the prize gradually increases the longer people ignore it)

The cargo renaming is a know issue i intend to solve. Weapon reloading is unrelated i believe but if you can find evidence otherwise ill work to fix it.

after the recent multiplayer update, I've noticed a big wherein the control panel of cargo containers are blank. I am still doing some more tests with just this mod in a single player world but it might also be related to an issue in our server (and a single player world with just this mod) wherein turrets dont shoot

Having some issues running this on my server. Works perfectly well on SP but on my server buttons say Activation Failed. Commands do work, it says ready but in control panel it looks like normal container unlike in SP.
