[Fighter Blueprint] Eskion 'Cabaletta' Interceptor

The fast, maneuverable 'Cabaletta' interceptor serves as the Eskion Collective's most capable vessel in fighter-to-fighter combat. Utilizing an innovative parallel drive system, the 'Cabaletta' is second in speed only to the 'Arietta' scout fighter, but carries enough punch to actually be a threat to other fighters. An underslung vector lance serves as the craft's sole armament.

While it is highly unusual for an interceptor to only have a single weapon - if for no other reason than redundancy - early combat trials with 'Cabaletta' prototype squadrons seemed to support the choice. The vector lance is both accurate and hard-hitting, performing better in combat scenarios than any possible combination of smaller arms - such as plasma pulse cannons. Eskion fleet command has deemed the single point of failure an acceptable risk for the significant increase in performance.

The Eskion 'Cabaletta' is exactly 200 blocks. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.

This ship is intended for use as a fighter blueprint, as it lacks the critical ship components necessary for player control.
