The Elder Tree

Long ago, lived a Kioki Village deep in the forest. Some say this village had a very peculiar belief about a particular Guardian. Despite this, I found myself within this village. Talks of a failed harvest permeated the town like a bad cloud that just wouldnt leave. I only meant to stay a few days and be on my way, such is the life of a merchant. Alas, things got weird and I got curious, I wish I hadnt looking back.

You surely wont believe me, I surely do not believe myself. Regardless I will try my best to recall the events that unfolded from there. One particular morning the town was estatic about a newborn baby that was birthed that very night. Apparently it was the first baby to be born in the village since the harvest. I shrugged it off as that they were just glad to take their mind off of a dwindling wheat stock pile. But before I knew it, The mother was up and about, the baby no where in sight. I started asking questions, only to my dismay that many seemed reluctant. Until one of the village elders had a drink with me that is... Rumor had it, they were to hold a sort of "Festival of the Harvest" , but maybe it was just a slur in his words, as I swear he said they were going to burn the baby as sacrifice to some "Elder Guardian Tree" A Goddess in the form of an ancient tree.

Id like to believe it was just a drunkin slur, I really do, until the night of the festival as I was leaving I could hear screams from a child and chants from a crowd. I saddled my horse and rode out of there, as fast as I could. I dare not stay just i n case they decided to Sacrifice me to this damned goddess of theirs too!

This took me way longer than I had liked and Im finally uploading it! You should find ALL knowledge nodes and gold chests. As well as an assortment of silver chests. Though, be warned Iv placed a few turrets around to give it a bit of a challenge! I hope you enjoy the Elder Tree as much as I enjoyed making it!
