The D-8 Scorpion is the most powerful in its class. The assault-fighter is capable of attacking many targets and playing the role of both defense, and offense. Bombing and intercepting are easily pulled off. While being good at them, these are intended as backups for the D-6 Bomber and D-7 interceptor and should never be used as primary functions.

Developed by Black Perdue Ship Building Corporation for the Galactic Federation Empire, these fighters show promise of use in newly discovered alien environments. After the destruction of the G.F.E. fleets, a new fleet had to be created. This fighter is just a small sliver of what the Galactic Federation Empire are bringing to the galactic table.
