描述
The Lore:

Hotek was the high priest of Vaul before and during the first years of the Secession. He and some of his followers were corrupted by the Druchii and began secretly designing and forging magical weapons for the Dark Elves.

Renegade and turncoat though he was, Hotek was no fool. He knew that he lived only at Malekith's fickle pleasure, and so he built a secret armory for himself under the Sulfur River. Ultimately, Hotek´s fate is unknown but his secret fortress was eventually found by the skaven of Clan Rictus and it would be used as the centre for all skaven operations on the Clawed Coast.


The Map:

Hotek´s Colum is a “siege” battle map, the battle takes place at the Sulfur River, the fortress itself is hidden behind waterfalls:



The fortifications only take up one small portion of the map, instead defenders are able deploy outside the fortress around many vantage points ideal for early harassment while the towers deal damage.

These vantage points surround the three main venues that lead into the fortress, so in multiplayer battles skirmishing the attacker should be a viable strategy.



This is the first map for which I´ve actually implemented “siege AI”, so the AI does respond to breaches and defends the victory point, still though deploying outside the fortress and skirmishing is far beyond it´s capabilities.

FAQ: yes, opaque waterfalls arent textured on the back as such I had to add another waterfall on the other so that it doesnt look terrible, I did my best to align each pair as closely as posible but due to the waterfalls being curved there some space in between.
I´d actually like to ask people whether you´d prefer opaque waterfalls or transparent ones (this are textured on both sides)

@Gackü I have to work on the AI a little bit as it is still having some trouble, I have to add proper retreat and reinforcement lines for the campaign and I will most likely rework the deployment zones

@Gackü it might but I feel it needs a lot more tweaking before it can be added into the campaign, I just dont have the time currently but I'll eventually get it done

awesome man ive tested it a few times since and now u fixed the walls the only thing that would make that map better would b dial back the deployment zone to inside the waterfalls apart from that its an awesome map

@Whitewolf13 , I´ve updated the map with a fix so units now get down from the walls, there is still a section which is giving me headaches but it should be better now

lots of bugs on the walls and gates and the deployment zones r a bit crazy but apart from that great map as soon as its bug free i can do a replay on it please please fix the bugs
