The Island of Lava

first act: i had a lot of trouble trying to figure out what to do cause i didn't know cooking cat was behind a building. then after the winner was declared the cutscene didn't end and i just stood there with nothing going on not being able to move

Despite there being no rewards at the end of any of the acts and being confused if that was the end as a result, the map itself was fun and varied.

it was a bit short but pretty decent. maybe do the textures a bit brighter next time. for me the most stones are just black.

it might just be me but i got 14 vault codes but that rift token on top of that birdhouse tho

That was a fantastic level that felt like a legit one shipped in the game for the most part. There wasn't any real challenging platforming sections but it seemed like more of an exploring kind of level which is fine. I liked all of the missions except the first act seems awfully short and easy. It seemed to me also that the cat lacked punctuation at the end of one of its sentences but I can't remember which one. You should check that. I'm not saying it like it's a huge flaw or anything but I could tell that you seem to have a passion for this kind of thing. There was so much creativity and a good amount of polish for a one person job so I just figured I would point that out. I hope for more content from you in the future!

Is there a reset button for when the ingredients inevitably go flying off the level/through the floor into the lava?

The chapters system works well. I feel like the first act really needs a second phase after gathering the ingredients. The main stage lava needs to become the kind that teleports you back up when you fall down into it, since most islands don't really have a way to recover from that. And 13 tickets is just a tad too many for act 3, I think if you could trim it down to 9 it would work better (more than 6 is when the voice clips end, and I believe more than 9 is when the game stops counting them for you entirely and possibly also when the hint system stops working, making that one-ticket-you-missed a real pain in the butt to find...)

Incredible map that really feel legit.

it was a bit short and had some flaws like some npc not talking or the food disappearing if you throw it in the lava without any respawn but overall it was very very good,the humor,the objectives all were very pleasant to do,i just wish there were more !

+ i wish you could stay in the level after completing a chapter :^)

I'm not sure which act I could like the most here, maybe the lava cake? The platforming was fun for me although like werti said a lot of it is taken out of the main game. The search for the vault codes was alright, it just gets annoying when you get to the last 2 codes and spend a long time trying to find out which way you missed.

What left me confused was the cooking show, all the ingredients show up in the town, I thought I was supposed to go to the pumpkin farm for a pumpkin lol.

But overall nothing here is impossible to beat and lasted a fair amount of time so good job!
