WOTC Ultrawide Fix:

Most people should not need this

For my setup WOTC had some weird UI issues with the strategic map not lining up correctly, and the UI in combat was off for some units, this is a simple fix;

XComEngine.ini
[Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

Use only for 16:9 and 21:9 or wider monitors

i have my monitor set as primary and the 55 4k tv as secondary because i only use it for games and tv.

will this fix the ui being cutoff? i have a 4k 55 inch smart tv still 16:9 dual setup with my monitor and the edges of the ui gets cutoff on the 4k tv.

Took some images off Grandiers mod and posted them here, it the exact same thing but their one is designed for pre WOTC XCOM 2

i know this is a very simple ini edit, but thank you so much. I hated the UI not being aligned, but couldn't figure out where to change it. huge QoL improvement.

FYI, if you need screenshots to know what this fixes, you do not need the mod. it is very evident what is wrong and what gets fixed if you suffer from the bug
