A single one of them can grow into swarms of dozens in minutes, endlessly growing in numbers until nothing but them remains...

This mod adds a single class of monster to the game: The Forsaken. Individually, they are weak, but every single attack by one of them has a 20% chance to spawn another Forsaken. If not dealt with quickly, their numbers will grow and grow expotentially until either everything dies or your computer crashes.

The Forsaken baturally appear in very sparse numbers at the beginning and endings o the Forsaken Cave.

There are three different Forsaken Weapons: A bow, a sword and a battleaxe. A hit with it inflicts the "Forsaken Virus" effect, which deals 1 damage per second until the creature is dead. Each hit also has a 20% chance to summon a Forsaken.

The Bow is found at the Archmage's Quarters at the College of Winterhold, along with a couple of Forsaken Arrows.
The Sword is found near the Dwarven Ruins in Markarth's Understone Keep.
The Battleaxe is found in the Blue Palace in Solitude, in the Mage's room.

Whether used as a distraction for enemies in a fight, or just a good challenge, these creatures are dangerous and extremely difficult ot contain. Use with caution.

At the Skyforge, there is a weapon that may help with the containment of the Forsaken. Aquire it at your nearest convenience.
