Grayridge Railway Company

The Grayridge Railway's shortline railroad is nestled the Shenandoah Valley of western Virginia near the small, quaint Grayridge City. Grayridge Railway primarily provides transloading services throughout Graymarle County, including the Graymarle County Coal Plant, Edgewater Farms, and of course Grayrdige City itself.

The locomotives are housed in the shed at the Grayridge Railway's rail yard, with a fleet total of 9 engines, including 3 switch locomotives and 3 preserved tender engines. Grayridge Railway even acquired a Union Pacific 4000-class Big Boy, utilized for both freight trains and passenger express service.

Residents and visitors alike often enjoy the landscape features in this part of the Shenandoah Valley. Many leisure hours are spent on the Greenwood Hills and ashore the winding Graymarle River, before heading back to the downtown bustle of Grayridge City.
