Update Sept 2023: This seems to work just fine -- users need to ensure that they load this mod BEFORE any planets in the list of mods. If they are doing so in Steam Interface, this mod is "lower" on the list. If doing so on TORCH, the mods come with "Load order #", just make sure this mod "Load Order #" is lower than Planets.

I have tested this mod. It still works.
There is a problem installing it. You need to unpack the mod and install the textures directly into the game folder. It's not like normal mods that start working when you just subscribe to them.
The problem comes from the fact that the game engine is designed this way. This can only be fixed by Keen.
