描述
The SD40-2 is a further development of the EMD SD40 series. For the first time, a modular design of the components prevailed at EMD. EMD designated series soon as Dash 2.

Technical Details:
- Vmax: 65 mph
- Power: 2240 kW
- Traction: 410 kN
- Availability: 1972 to ...

Features:
- Aging, dirt
- 3 Lods
- reversed versions

This mod uses the repainttool from https://www.transportfever.net/, the individual locomotives can be switched on/off via the TPFMM or manually in the settings.lua. All normal versions are enabled by default, the rotated ones are disabled.

Am I going mad, did you have reverse engines for these also, swear I've used them before and can no longer find them....

I have no further work planned for the SD40-2 at the moment, but I have forwarded your request and maybe it looks as if there could be "soon" results.

Also for Canadian National, if possible ... forgot to mention that Company as I am mostly exposed to Canadian Pacific ... oops...

@maikC, and/or @MrCheesecake ... I am unsure if you will do any more work with the SD40-2 model, but I was wondering if there is a chance of Canadian Pacific livery. These were some of the most oft used locomotives for CP in the '70's and '80's. Thank you for the excellent work.

These train engines are terrible. Their sound is aweful, and make a buzz sound when running like a small electric hum. You need to change the sound, and the horn is aweful.
