Forest Area is meant to be a hindrance for tank units as this is to promote close-quarters infantry combat, although I did find a problem that causes them to take the longer route instead of the intentional entrance from their side, this will be fixed on an upcomming hotfix
Are you refering to Spearhead's AI or Vanilla? Regardless, I haven't made ANY adjustments in regards to the MP gain (for both player and AI), the resource points still determines the resource gain in this map, unless modified in a mod.
Panterns, Tigers and even King Tigers ironically could pass through the bridge before the update of the mod and even in vanilla, I actually have no idea why they couldn't pass through the bridge model, as of now I made changes to the bridge for the sake of gameplay, so for now the map will not feature the original model that was featured in the original COH campaign :(
