Take the AR2 and shrink it down 0.009 scale, and use it as the view model. It has bones to which I can affix the prop sword, making something that resembles the weapon in 1st person view. Using a similer trick, I affix a prop to the playermodel bone "lrigscull".
And as King_CreepaLot has pointed out, these are mouth swords. What need is there for a hoof model if it's a hoof-free operation? Seems cheap, is cheap, but it works and works surprisingly well.
In any sense, it'd probably help if I'd changed the penetration effect. Now that know how, I can swap out the base files and ammotypes and make is so it won't "shoot through" struck enemies and props. But that's bit low on the todo list.
Fair for you, Mr.Capslock?
