Are there any updated versions of this anywhere? This looks abandoned.

It does, but only because the box is ticked. I got complaints the mod wasn't visible enough with "affects savegames" disabled.

Does this mod affect saved games?

Then this isn't what I thought at first. Unsubscribing, sorry, I need something that allows me to stop prophets in peacetime aside from inquisitors.

No you can't. You can capture GP when at war only. Prophets are unchanged, as are Generals and Admirals.

Please tell me if I have this right - can I subscribe to this now, use it in my current game and capture foreign prophets without triggering a war?

No I cannot. It's no doubt possible but requires much more work and I like the balance just the way it is, sorry.

Prophets can be captured in the base game. You can use all their actions as long as they haven't used the "spread religion" action yet, as is the case with your own prophets.
