Strangely enough, my performance problem was not mainly because of the Insignia. It was another modded traffic car, which caused some weird issue. So sorry about my posts, they were kinda irrelevant. Nice mod and thanks for the help!

I'm disabling some of the custom traffic of mine with the method you told me, so i will be able to use the insignia instead of those :D It is just too good to miss out :D

Sounds great. I really like this car and i would like to use it. I hope you will figure out something, but it is not a rush. The car is really good already. Keep up the good work!

TpF does act a little wierd sometimes. once i had an addon just suddenly crashing my savegame even tho the addon was'nt updated lol

but i might make an update to the car where i try to lower the size of the model to make the car more perfomance friendly without sacrificing the look of the car :)

Thanks for the info. I'm trying it out now. I changed the end date to 2000. I guess that's good enough. I'm at 2140. Why the game freaked out about it btw? I really like the Insignia. I will try to use this car later, for sure.

go to:
your harddisk with tpf installed on
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800\1270525575\res\models\model\vehicle\car

and change the yearTo to 1850 and then the car should slowly dissapear :)
