G-86 Cobra All-Range Heavy Interceptor (NO MODS)

The G-86 Cobra Heavy Interceptor is a multirole fighter capable of operation in both space and atmosphere, G-86s have found use as patrol ships, escorts and frontline attack ships. Clad almost entierly in heavy armor, Cobras are a bit on the sluggish side as far as interceptors go but can absorb far more damage and still fly. To compensate, Cobras come standard equipped with formidable firepower.

9X gatling guns and 2X relodable rocket launchers mean the ship is capable of punching holes in far larger foes. The Cobra's narrow design allows for stowage aboard smaller carriers.
