描述
This scenario plays on a hand-drawn, huge map similar to the
Continents
maps added with the Explorer's Map Pack DLC.

This Scenario:
Map Size: 128x80 Tiles
Map Type: Continents - The world consists of a few large landmasses and some smaller islands.
Game Pace: Epic (cannot be changed)
Default Difficulty Level: Chieftain (Beginner; can be changed)
Barbarians: Raging (be prepared for an onslaught)

Scenario sets realistic starting locations for 17 playable civilizations (requires G&K) and 17 city states:

Celtic Empire
Swedish Empire
German Empire
Austrian Empire
French Empire
English Empire
Russian Empire
Mongolian Empire [DLC]
Arabian Empire
Egyptian Empire
Persian Empire
Songhai Empire
Dutch Empire
Siamese Empire

Japanese Empire

This map is optimized for the
Community Development Patch (CBP/Vox Populi)

Even if you prefer not to run CBP, it is advisable to activate the "More Luxuries" sub-mod, because the map places its nine additional luxuries and the additional city-state luxury. The mod can be subscribed here:

The Aztec are not one of the scenario civilizations, so the game put you on one of the undiscovered continents. Where you'll be alone, and won't have contact to other Civs for another thousand years. Tough assignment. There's iron on all continents, but the jungle regions don't have horses. The Spanish brought horses to South America. Map tries to be realistic.
If you don't wish to play the scenario (with the scenario Civs listed above), I'd recommend to play the Map Only version of this map. That way it's more balanced for random starts, and you have less of a chance to toil as a recluse for ages all alone on your continent.

Where are all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strategic resources? Started in the jungle and have spent nearly 150 turns exploring with my jaguars and I have yet to see a single horse or iron location. Or even another civilization for that matter.

Is there anyway to have this on quick game pace? waiting 15+ turns for a worker is pretty unbareable

I put the companion map to this Continents map up on the Workshop: it's modeled after the Pangaea Plus maps introduced with the Explorer Maps Pack. I don't think I can improve on that map anymore. It's got everything: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1278837372
