Stargate Astria Porta Star Gate UPDATED

Currently a WIP, but I aim to devolop it further.

For now its just an object, so no spinning inner ring and just an on off switch for the Chevrons controlled remotely via the DHD

Kinda got bored of making ships that can't fly so here is a static object instead. HAHAHA


**Update 2.0**

Changed a few things I didn't like.

Added a DHD ...and some fake legs.

Added Blue lights to the underside of the ring go give it the illusion that its open.

Finished all the Glyphs ...no more AAAA's

I'm not going to upload a seperate variant to the workshop because there is no need.
If you want to create the Atlatis gate yourself, you just need to edit the colour of the text for the Glyphs;

Select one Glyph in edit mode then go to selection at the top of the editor window and look for 'Select same type' this will select all Glyphs at once. Then you need to click on 'Text Color'. You must FIRST adjust the brightness slider under the colour wheel or all colours you choose will remain BLACK. Then select the colour of choice.

The same goes for the Chevrons, Click on any Chevron and under selection 'Select same material' this will select all chevrons and as before you just need to change the color. (Don't forget the one on the DHD)

You can also change the color of the Stargate base if you wish by following the same procedure, click on any one of the steps or slopes of the base 'Select same material' and just change the colour. I think the Rustic Wood Material is the closest to looking like stone, but feel free to experiment.
