*This updated version of the recreation now utilises the Gerstlauer Infinity trains. Further optimisations have also been added. For a less computer intensive file, try the 'No Effects' version of this recreation. Furthermore, unfortunately due to not being able to devote as much time to NoLimits projects as of late and other factors, this is the final release of this recreation, even though there are unfinished areas still present. We wanted to update this with the new trains and further optimisations to make the experience better for you. Look out for the work that Virtual Towers Online are doing to see a fully fledged recreation of The Smiler and the entirity of Alton Towers Resort when it is released sometime in the future. The Ministry of Joy invites you to join us and experience their latest correctional device. The Smiler is the worlds first 14 inversion roller coaster. The Smiler is a controlling force that will marmalise your body and mind. Combining twisted physical effects, from multiple loops on your body, with five mind manipulation devices: The Inoculator, The Tickler, The Flasher, The Giggler and The Hypnotiser; turning you into a smiling advocate so that you belong to The Smiler.

PLEASE NOTE - This recreation has been created based on how The Smiler appeared when it opened on 31st May 2013 with slight alterations for optimisation. Furthermore, the main focus of this recreation is on The Smiler, not on the X-Sector area of the park therefore there will be some obvious detail missing. Also, some aspects of the recreation may not be perfectly accurate however we could not phyiscally continue with the project making many small tweaks otherwise we would never reach a release.
